LEFT DESIGN FESTIVAL / Branding
Left Design Festival is an annual forum to celebrate and discuss progressive political design, organised by Labour Party Graphic Designers, a network of activists and affiliated designers.
Our identity for the event takes the red of the labour movement as a starting point and fashions a distinctive stark red and white palette. The bespoke typography was inspired by historical political communications, given a sharp contemporary twist with a left-pointing incision into each letterform.
